These are the results of the Winter League 2025 for the first team.
Lutterworth IV - Sunday 28th September 2025
We start the season splitting the points away to Lutterworth. Our sharpness not quite there to take the W.
Westfields IV - Sunday 5th October 2025
Our second game brings us home and an emphatic win, with almost a clean sweep.
Wigston III - Sunday 12th October 2025
An empathic win to a rousing defeat against eventual runners up Wigston. A solid, well-gelled team.
Rothley Ivanhoe V - Sunday 2nd November 2025
It's always tight against Rothley and this time proved no different with Blaby sharing the spoils.
Loughborough LTC IV - Saturday 8th November
Travelling to Loughborough is always a tough match. Quality and solid opposition. This proved no different with Blaby putting up a good fight but succumbing to eventual champions 2-6.
Market Bosworth IV - Sunday 16th November 2026
Blaby returns to winning ways as we put up a good display at Home.
Rutland Tennis Academy I - Sunday 18th January 2026
The last game of the season and Blaby had to wait until the new year to finish the season off. We finished strong with an away victory that puts us in 4th place (just).
Final Thoughts
A mixed bag season, but one we can learn from, outclassed against the top 2 but we could have snatched a few more wins if we were more clinical in critical moments.
