Men's Summer League 2025-Wrap Up

An amazing summer season. Blaby, showing off some new talent as well as a debut to a long standing member. The newbies were thrust into competitive tennis and the blend shone this summer, with a set win percentage of 63.5%.

Losing only twice this year, one which we felt could have been ours on another day with some room from improvement but a great end to the summer season.

The Results

Starting off strong with a few stumbling blocks against quality opposition, but mostly dominating the rest of the league. Blaby produced 5 out 7 victories in a season where we were on the road more often than hosting. A good adaptability on various courts were needed to succeed.

The Roster

We would like to thank and congratulate all the players who took part in this amazing season. Your dedication and effort were greatly appreciated.

Gareth coming out with the best win percentage overall, but a really well done to all who participated.

Final League Table

The final league table for Men's Doubles 7A and we only gone and won the whole thing. It was a tight finish, Blaby coming through champions with 2 points clear.

Blaby waited patiently we did what we could do against Desford and results fell our way on the last day which meant we were crowned champions of 7A. Congratulations to all who took part, it was truly a fantastic effort and an amazing pay off for a great season.

Final Thoughts

A super proud writer here congratulating the team. We don't see many successes here at our small club but this one we will cherish. Small but mighty!
