Wow, what a summer season; Blaby, showing off some new talent as the newbies were thrust into competitive tennis and the blend shone this summer, with a set win percentage of 76.5. As well as bagging the maximum points 3 times and coming close a couple of occasions with two 10-1 victories. A fantastic season, coming off hot from a Spring Intraclub Double Tournament that helped sharpen our game.
Losing only twice this year, one which we felt could have been ours on another day.

The final league table for Men's Doubles 6A
Blaby waited patiently and results fell our way which meant we were promoted to League 5 in the next tournament. Congratulations to all who took part, it was truly a fantastic effort and an amazing pay off for a great season. We now look to another Autumn IntraClub tournament ahead of the Winter League.
Final Thoughts
A great display of talent and tenacity with very few hiccups. Maybe we felt tight in the big game when we knew the title was on the line, but it gives us something to try and replicate and better as we continually look to improve and most importantly enjoy our tennis.
