Starting off the season on home court. Blaby ran out emphatic winners, taking full points to start the season off in the best possible way.
Birstall Watermerad II - Tuesday 9thMay 2023
A visit to Birstall Watermead was up next, with Blaby continuing on their opening win with another to follow up.
Rothley Ivanhoe VII - Friday 19th May 2023
Another emphatic win, with Blaby in great form and confidence high.
Loughborough LTC V - Monday 22rd May 2023
Our first defeat comes at the hands of Loughborough. Some new pairings for Blaby against very talented opposition, with the games closer than they appear with some great matches being played but ultimately sending Blaby back to Earth with a bump.
Carisbrooke J - Friday 9th June 2023
Blaby back to winning ways with another great win, almost taking full points with a fantastic home win.
Desford III - Friday 23rd June 2023
Blaby's winning ways continue with an away victory at Desford in the evening heat, some hard fought sets and another one where we were so close to reaching maximum points.
Charnwood VI - Tuesday 27th June 2022
Another great win at home keep Blaby in winning ways and we find ourselves on top of the League with our main rivals coming up next.
David Lloyd (Narborough) III - Friday 30th June 2023
It was tight at the top and crunch time against our main rivals for the League title. Starting off well in the first few matches gave us a 2-1 lead heading into the second round of matches. David Lloyd then taking the next 2-1 to set up for 3-3. Blaby felt the pressure and blinked first and lost the last round 2-1 to give victory to David Lloyd. Feeling very beatable, another day we could have taken them. One to learn from.
Victoria IV - Wednesday 5th July 2023
Blaby now resting in third place, after the David Lloyd loss, we had to do our best for any chance of promotion and the boys delivered with another fantastic win away from home taking all the points and ending a great season in style. We wait to see the league will finish with Blaby having to wait for some results to see any chance of promotion.
